We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on our incredible B Corp charity partners, Edgbaston Park Hotel, who continue to go above and beyond in their support for Bfriends – Friends of Birmingham Children’s Trust.
Recently, the brilliant team at Edgbaston Park Hotel held a charity cake bake sale, raising an impressive £494 for Bfriends. Their generosity doesn’t stop at fundraising, either. It flows into everything else; the creaton of a genuine partnership, their kindness and our shared sense of purpose.
Yesterday, our Fundraising Manager Pauline Manby and our Operations & Partnerships Manager Natalie Loon were warmly welcomed into the stunning Garth House, using the beautiful Winterbourne Room for our meetings — gifted to us by the hotel. What an inspiring space to be offered by our new partners… we were genuinely blown away.
During our visit, we also had the pleasure of meeting David Andrews, who is already well‑known to Birmingham Children’s Trust for his mentoring work with our young people. David surprised us with a generous personal donation to support our care leavers. “Thank you” doesn’t feel enough — his kindness will make a real difference to the lives of young people stepping into independence.
Partnerships like this are powerful. They bring people together, create opportunities and help us build brighter futures for children and young adults across Birmingham.
